Portfolio Product Lead: IT & Integration Solutions

A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research is seeking a Portfolio Manager to oversee a portfolio of IT projects focusing on space planning, infrastructure, and application integration. The role requires driving digital transformation through cross-functional collaboration and implementing Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5–10 years of experience managing complex IT projects. Success metrics include on-time and on-budget delivery, as well as the successful implementation of new technologies and processes. The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining project portfolios, identifying and prioritizing initiatives, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and a deep understanding of IT and business operations. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and maintaining project portfolios to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives; • Identifying and prioritizing initiatives based on strategic importance, risk, and resource availability; • Collaborating with stakeholders to develop and refine project proposals and business cases; • Ensuring the successful implementation of new technologies and processes through effective change management and communication strategies; • Developing and managing budgets for IT projects and programs; • Providing regular status updates and progress reports to senior leadership and stakeholders; • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with IT projects and programs; • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements and best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT and business operations, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
