Job Purpose: The Operations Executive is responsible for coordinating and executing all port call-related activities for vessels under the company’s agency, ensuring efficient turnaround, compliance with regulations, and a high level of service to principals, shipowners, and charterers. Key Responsibilities: Port Call Coordination Arrange and coordinate vessel arrivals and departures, including berth booking, pilotage, towage, and port documentation. Liaise with port authorities, terminal operators, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including those related to safety, security, and environmental protection. Monitor and report on port call performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary. Provide exceptional customer service to principals, shipowners, and charterers, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including port authorities, terminal operators, and other industry partners. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to continuously improve port call operations.
