Wellington based | Permanent | Full-time 4.4 weeks annual leave | Wellness allowance after 12 months $79,348 - $84,638, dependent on experience Ko tōu ake mahi - What you’ll do Join a team shaping the future of health in Aotearoa New Zealand. As a Policy Analyst, you’ll play a key role in developing evidence-informed policy that drives better outcomes for communities across the motu. Working in a highly collaborative environment, you’ll contribute to meaningful, real-world impact - supporting the development and implementation of policies that improve the health and wellbeing of all New Zealanders. You will be responsible for: • Developing and implementing policy initiatives that align with our strategic priorities • Conducting research and analysis to inform policy decisions • Collaborating with stakeholders across government, iwi, Māori and community organizations to develop policies that are responsive to their needs and aspirations • Providing expert advice and guidance on policy development and implementation • Building relationships with key stakeholders to advance our policy goals • Staying up-to-date with the latest research, trends and best practices in health policy and governance • Contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team • Supporting the development of policies that are equitable, inclusive and responsive to the needs of diverse communities • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the organization to achieve shared goals • Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge • Contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team What you’ll need to succeed: • A relevant degree in policy, public health, or a related field (or equivalent experience) • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and strategically • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement • Strong research and analysis skills with the ability to stay up-to-date with the latest research, trends and best practices in health policy and governance • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage competing deadlines • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality work standards • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances • A commitment to promoting the health and wellbeing of all New Zealanders What we offer: • Competitive salary range $79,348 - $84,638, dependent on experience • 4.4 weeks annual leave • Wellness allowance after 12 months • Opportunities for professional development and growth within the organization • A dynamic and supportive work environment with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration • The chance to contribute to meaningful, real-world impact that improves the health and wellbeing of all New Zealanders How to apply: If you are interested in this exciting opportunity, please submit your application, including your CV and a cover letter outlining your relevant skills and experience.
