Powder Coater

Introduction

You know how to apply an even layer, perform a color change, and recognize a defect before it's too late. As a Powder Coater, you are responsible for performing the powder coating work in the spray booth — precisely, safely, and in accordance with the customer's quality requirements. Executing work with a direct impact on the final result, in a 2-shift system.

Where you will work:

You will work at a specialized manufacturer of stainless steel products in Oosterhout. The company develops and produces everything in-house — from standard products to custom work — and serves customers in the construction and infrastructure sector.

The production environment is modern and well-equipped. It is a company with a close-knit team culture of approximately 70 employees, of which 55 are in production, actively investing in the development of its people.

What you will do:

As a Powder Coater, you are responsible for manually applying powder coating layers in the spray booth. You perform color changes, clean the equipment, and check layer thickness, adhesion, and finish. You work according to the production schedule and record order data and process deviations.

Before you start, you always check the result of the previous processing step. You proactively identify quality deviations, contribute to improvements in the powder coating process, and always work in accordance with safety and health regulations. The role is physically demanding — you stand a lot and work with arm and shoulder strength.

Tasks:

• Manually apply powder coating layers in the spray booth
• Perform color changes and clean equipment
• Check layer thickness, adhesion, and finish, and identify deviations
• Record order data and follow the production schedule
• Check the result of the previous processing step
• Contribute to improvements in the powder coating process and work methods

What we are asking for:

• Experience in spraying or coating, preferably powder coating
• Knowledge of the powder coating process, quality standards, and raw materials is a pré
• Willingness to work in a 2-shift system
• Accurate and quality-oriented work attitude
• Physically fit — role requires a lot of standing and working with personal protective equipment
• Good command of the Dutch and/or English language (spoken and written)
• Own housing is necessary

What we offer:

• Gross hourly wage of €17.00 - €22.16 (including 14% shift allowance)
• 8% holiday allowance (paid weekly)
• Travel expenses reimbursement of €0.23 per km
• Weekly payment
• 25 vacation days per year (based on full-time)
• Pension accrual: 23.4% of the pensionable income
• Minimum of 40 hours per week
• Working hours: early shift 06:00-14:45 / late shift 14:30-22:30
• After 1,040 hours worked, possibility of a permanent contract with the client
