Podcast Editor (100% Remote)

Hello, I'm Paul – Digital Growth Consultant and Developer from Berlin. Under heypaul.ai, I build my brand around AI and VibeCoding, and my podcast is the centerpiece of my content strategy.

To make sure every episode has great content, I'm looking for someone who can not only edit my episodes cleanly but also has a feel for which moments really spark on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.

You'll work directly with me, have flexible scheduling, and shape the external impact of my growing personal brand actively.

Tasks

For each podcast episode, you'll take over the complete post-production process:

- Listen to the entire recorded episode

- Clean edit of the episode (remove errors, pauses, and off-topic content) – publish-ready for all podcast platforms

- Production of a YouTube long-form version including simple visuals and title suggestions

- At least 3 reels per episode, optimized for Instagram and TikTok (9:16, captions, strong hook in the first 3 seconds)

- Think ahead: If you notice a particularly strong moment, let me know

Scope: approximately 3-4 episodes per month.

Qualification

- Proficient in audio and video editing (Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, etc.) – I don't care which tool you use as long as the result is good

- Sense for storytelling, pacing, and short-form hooks – you know what stops people on TikTok

- Independent, reliable work style – you don't need micromanagement and meet deadlines

- German language skills at a native speaker level (or very close), content is in German

Nice to have:

- Experience with AI tools (Descript, Opus Clip, CapCut AI, ElevenLabs)

- Own eye for thumbnails and hook texts

- Experience with personal branding or creator content
