PMO Specialist Construction (m/w/d)

Aufgaben

• Portfolio-Überblick: You summarize the overall status of all projects - new builds, renovations, and special projects - in clear, informative reports and thus provide transparency for the Director Construction & Planning.
• Kapazitäts-Check: You check resources and capacities before taking on new projects and deliver reliable statements to Operations and Expansion regarding handover dates.
• Priorisierung: When faced with bottlenecks or capacity overload, you develop well-founded prioritization proposals and recognize in good time when a make-or-buy trigger is sensible.
• Schnittstellen-Koordination: You coordinate operationally with assignors like Real Estate, Expansion, Operations, and Special Projects, and negotiate sovereignly at eye level.
• Budget: You review preliminary calculations including WBS-structuring, steer the ongoing construction controlling (Plan/Ist/Forecast/Deviation) and keep track of the supplementary list as well as the aggregated Capex/CF overview.
• Terminmanagement: You create master term plans with critical path, track milestones with traffic light logic, and analyze delays with causes and risk matrix – if delayed by more than two weeks, you escalate deliberately to Director, CFO, and Board.
• Governance: You maintain the RACI for portfolio and project decisions and create monthly dashboards for budget, terms, risks, and capacity.

Qualifikation

• Dein Know-how: First relevant experience (approx. 3-7 years) in project controlling, PMO, or project management of construction projects and ideally knowledge of cost categories (DIN 276/WBS logic) as well as cost bearer systematics.
• Deine Tools: You are proficient in MS-Project - both for single and portfolio planning, and have experience with other relevant tools and building processes.
• Dein Zahlenverständnis: Knowledge of accounting, forecast logic, and cost bearer is self-evident to you.
• Dein Arbeitsstil: You work structured and analytically, without losing assertiveness - even in complex situations, you maintain an overview.
• Deine Stärken: Communication strength (German at least C1 level) towards project leadership, assignors, and management is your hallmark - you know how to convey messages addressably.
