PMO Manager (w/m/d) Aerospace Industry Project Management in Mainz (1629)

Your career in project management and process optimization.
As PMO Manager (w/m/d) at BRÜGGEN ENGINEERING, you will take on a central role in complex industrial projects in the aerospace industry. You will support project leadership in efficiently managing and optimizing all processes – from resource planning to term coordination and risk management. Your focus lies on applying and further developing tailored project management tools to ensure time, cost, and quality targets.
Tasks
- Project Support: Supporting project leadership in planning, organization, execution, and controlling complex projects.
- Resource Planning: Analysis and coordination of personnel requirements with project responsible persons.
- Term & Cost Management: Maintenance of project structure plans and timelines, progress control, and analysis of critical paths.
- Risk Management: Participation in identifying, evaluating, and documenting project risks, changes (Changes), and claims.
- Project Reporting: Creation and presentation of project-related reports, milestone analyses, and status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Co-shaping, improving, and standardizing PMO processes, templates, and tools for cross-project use.
- PMO Leadership (optional): Coordination of other PMO managers in the large project environment with corresponding qualifications.
Qualification
- Qualification: Completed studies in aerospace engineering, industrial engineering or comparable fields.
- Project Management: Experience in PMO or project leadership, knowledge of MS Project, risk management, ECSS standards and configuration management.
- Process Understanding: Know-how in term, resource, and process planning as well as controlling performance, costs, and quality.
- Communication: Secure and situationally appropriate behavior, diplomatic finesse, and presentation skills in German and English.
- Personality: Analytical thinking, structured working method, high willingness to cooperate and conflict resolution competence.
