This role offers a unique combination of technical challenge, remote location experience and a once in a lifetime professional opportunity to work with the United States Antarctic Program (USAP). As a Plumber at McMurdo Station, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing plumbing systems, fixtures and appliances throughout the station. Your duties will include but not limited to: • Troubleshooting and resolving plumbing issues • Performing routine maintenance on plumbing systems • Repairing and replacing plumbing fixtures and appliances • Collaborating with other tradespeople to ensure effective and efficient work practices • Participating in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
