Are you a fair leader with experience in roofing and electricity? Someone who loves technology and is eager to work together with the team to get their hands dirty? As Solar Panel Installer Leader:

• Work daily with your fixed colleague – you form a strong team on the roof.
• Prioritize the rooftop surface: inspect for load-bearing capacity, obstacles, and orientation (tilt angle, solar exposure).

• Install solar panels on sloping and flat roofs.

• Connect solar panels to the building's electrical system, including converters.

• Perform measurements and tests to ensure correct system functioning.

• Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with applicable safety standards (e.g. VCA).

• Review technical drawings and installation schematics. Verify that drawings match the actual situation on location.

• Install roof fixings (e.g. roof hooks, ballast, rails) according to the roof structure (bitumen, tiles, EPDM, etc.).

• Determine defects in the roof, roofing system, cabling or converter during installation.

• Register installation errors, transportation or manufacturing damage to panels or components.

• As a team leader, you keep an overview. You think ahead and take preventive action.
