PLC Programmer

A leading company in the industrial cleaning technology sector is looking for a talented PLC programmer. This important position involves being involved in the creation and management of software for state-of-the-art industrial cleaning machines, with tasks extending across both national and international projects. The role requires close collaboration with the engineering and project management teams to drive innovations in machine technology, with a focus on integrating data analysis and cloud technologies. Furthermore, the role includes providing technical support and efficiently resolving malfunctions, making you an important ambassador for the company in customer interactions. Your contribution is crucial for the smooth functioning of our systems and for increasing customer satisfaction. In summary, as a PLC programmer, you will:

• Develop software for industrial washing machines.
• Devise data collection and cloud solutions to make our machines more intelligent and transparent.
• Work on our machines at customer locations, both domestically and internationally.

We are looking for a PLC programmer who can work independently and is willing to travel to customers domestically and internationally, although you will spend most of your time at our office in the vicinity of Rotterdam. In addition, you have:

• Completed Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• At least 1-3 years of experience in a comparable role.
• Demonstrate your knowledge and skills 40 hours a week.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• Experience with Siemens TIA Portal is a plus.
