Platform Software Engineer (Containers) Experience: 5 years Role Overview: We’re looking for a Platform Software Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable container-based platforms. You’ll work closely with engineering teams to enable reliable, secure, and high-performance microservices on cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and manage containerized platforms using Kubernetes and Docker Build and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or GCP Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment of containerized applications Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and tools Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to container orchestration, networking, and storage Monitor and optimize platform performance, latency, and resource utilization Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements Develop and maintain documentation for platform architecture, design, and operations Key Requirements: 5+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably in cloud-native or container-based environments Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and collaboration skills Certifications: AWS Certified Developer - Associate or equivalent Experience with other cloud providers (Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus
