Key Responsibilities:
- People Leadership: Guide, mentor, and foster a high-performance culture for the engineers.
- Cloud Roadmap: Take full accountability for the production AWS environment.
- Optimise Operations: Drive strategy around platform resilience, security, and cloud cost optimization.
- Release Engineering: Own and continuously optimize the automated software deployment pipeline.
- Security & Audit: Lead technical audit processes and manage vulnerability assessments.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee corporate IT systems, hardware fleets, and helpdesk triage.
- Proven Leadership: 2+ years of experience managing infrastructure, cloud, or platform teams.
- Technical Depth: 6+ years in software or technology operations roles.
- AWS Mastery: Deep, hands-on production experience architecting within the AWS ecosystem.
- Automation Mastery: Strong background with CI/CD tooling and infrastructure-as-code.
- Compliance Knowledge: Solid understanding of information security frameworks and IT audits.
- Financial Background: Previous exposure to the fintech domain is highly advantageous.
- Hybrid Flexibility: Genuine flexible working arrangements with a balance of home and office.
