Platform Engineer - Datapay

About the Role As a Platform Engineer, you will be an integral part of the team responsible for building and maintaining the platforms and automation practices that underpin our technology ecosystems. Working closely with Senior Platform Engineers and technical leads, you will contribute to the implementation of new technologies and processes, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritise platform requirements, develop and maintain documentation, and provide training and support as needed. This role requires a strong understanding of cloud-based platforms, automation tools, and DevOps practices. About the Person We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology and has experience in building and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient platforms. You will have a strong background in software development, with expertise in languages such as Python, Java, or C#. Experience with cloud-based platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform would be highly valued. Additionally, knowledge of automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Docker would be an asset. Certifications in areas like ITIL, DevOps, or Agile would also be considered.
