Platform Engineer (AWS)

You bring to Applaudo the following competencies: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. 4 years of experience as a Platform Engineer , DevOps Engineer , or Infrastructure Engineer with focus on developer enablement . Deep expertise in AWS , especially working with services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, CloudFront, Lambda, and IAM. Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and/or CloudFormation. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Strong understanding of networking concepts (e.g., VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups). Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana). Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Bonus points for: AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer). Experience with serverless technologies. Experience with security best practices. What you’ll do Design, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure on AWS. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines. Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using infrastructure-as-code. Improve the developer experience by providing tools and services. Collaborate with engineering teams to provide solutions. Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application performance. Participate in on-call rotations. What we offer Competitive salary.
