Plastics Technician (Full-time)

POLYX GLOBAL PTY LTD is seeking an experienced and reliable Plastics Technician to join its team in Sydney, NSW.

Who You Are

We are looking for a motivated Plastics Technician with relevant experience in plastics manufacturing and production processes. The successful candidate will be technically minded, safety-conscious and able to work effectively within a production environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Setting up, operating and monitoring plastics production machinery and equipment.
• Inspecting machinery and production processes to identify faults or performance issues.
• Adjusting machine settings and production parameters to ensure product quality and consistency.
• Carrying out routine maintenance and assisting with repairs of production equipment.
• Monitoring production output and ensuring products meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Identifying and resolving technical and production issues.
• Maintaining accurate production and maintenance records.
• Ensuring workplace health and safety procedures are followed.
• Working with production staff to improve efficiency and minimise downtime.

• Relevant qualification in plastics technology, manufacturing, engineering or a related field.
• Relevant experience working in plastics manufacturing or a similar production environment.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting plastics production machinery.
• Good mechanical and technical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

• Permanent full-time position.
• Salary of $79,000 – $85,000 per annum + superannuation, depending on experience.
