Plant Reliability Specialist

Position: Plant Reliability Specialist Hire Resolves client is seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Reliability Specialist to join their team in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of their plant equipment through proactive maintenance and continuous improvement. Responsibilities: Develop and implement reliability strategies to maximise equipment up time and minimise downtime. Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective actions. Develop and maintain a comprehensive maintenance management system. Monitor equipment performance and identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance programs. Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination. Prepare and present reports on equipment reliability and performance. Provide technical support and training to maintenance personnel. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and new technologies. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in plant reliability and maintenance. Strong knowledge of reliability engineering principles and practices. Experience with root cause analysis methodologies. Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
