Job description
Our client is on the lookout for a mechanically minded person to join their team as a Plant Refueler and/or Diesel Mechanic.
This role will see you travel around to local civil development sites to refuel mobile plants and perform minor maintenance tasks as required

This role will see you travel around to local civil development sites to refuel mobile plants and perform minor maintenance tasks as required
What you'll be doing
- Maintain refueling schedule for plant and equipment
- Base level maintenance on plant and equipment - Grease, check & top up oils, blow filters, general inspection
- Inspection and minor service on smaller machines onsite
- Perform basic preventative maintenance in the workshop on plant vehicles and equipment
- Minor troubleshooting and repair on plants, vehicles and equipment both onsite and in the workshop
- Maintain workshop areas and vehicles to company standard of cleanliness
- Maintain service and repair records of works completed
What you will need
- HR or MR Heavy Vehicle Licence
- Forklift Licence
- Dangerous goods Licence - or willingness to obtain
- A Plant mechanic qualification is not essential - however a mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn is a requirement
