Plant Production Control & Logistics Manager

Prohuman is hiring for its client in Craiova – Plant Production Control & Logistics Manager

For one of our partners in the automotive industry, we are looking for a Plant Production Control & Logistics Manager to take on a key role in coordinating and optimizing factory-level production and logistics activities.

The position has an important strategic component, with a direct impact on operational performance, costs, and service levels offered to clients.

Main Responsibilities

• Coordination of production planning and logistics flow activities, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to delivery deadlines
• Management and optimization of the PC&L budget (inventory, transport, human resources), in line with organizational objectives
• Implementation and development of standard Production Control & Logistics processes, with a focus on continuous improvement
• Monitoring of logistics performance and initiation of corrective actions in collaboration with internal departments
• Supervision of planning processes (Sales & Operations Plan – SOP, Master Production Schedule – MPS)
• Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through compliant deliveries and efficient relationship management
• Coordination of relationships with suppliers and logistics partners, for the purpose of optimizing flows
• Leadership of the logistics team, setting objectives and developing the competencies of team members
• Close collaboration with internal departments (Production, Quality, IT, Engineering) for the alignment of operational objectives

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in production and logistics, preferably in the automotive industry
• Completed university studies (technical or supply chain field – an advantage)
• Experience in using ERP systems (SAP is an advantage)
• Solid leadership and team coordination skills
• Orientation towards performance, efficiency, and results
• Analytical thinking, rigor, and organizational capacity
• Communication and interdepartmental collaboration skills
• Openness to change and continuous improvement
