Job Opportunity: Plant Operator - Loading Shovel Trained

Rate of Pay: £12.32 per hour (flat rate across all operators)

We are is currently seeking a qualified and safety-conscious Plant Operator trained in Loading Shovel operations to join our team at the Blackpool site. This is a great opportunity to work in a well-established environment focused on sustainable waste management and recycling.

• Operate loading shovels safely and efficiently
• Assist with the movement, sorting, and loading of waste and recyclable materials
• Perform daily machinery checks and basic maintenance
• Collaborate with site staff to ensure smooth and safe operations
• Comply with all health and safety procedures

• Valid certification for Loading Shovel operation
• Previous experience in a similar role (preferably in waste or construction)
• Strong understanding of site safety and operational procedures
• FLT license is beneficial but not essential - please note this is not a forklift-only role

Important: This position requires specific plant operator training. While FLT experience is useful, applicants must hold a valid Loading Shovel license. Applications from FLT-only drivers will not be considered.
