Plant Operator

OneStaff Rotorua is currently seeking an experienced Process Worker / Plant Operator to join a leading food manufacturing site in Tirau. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with dairy manufacturing or operational plant experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment. The Role

You will be responsible for operating and monitoring plant equipment to ensure the safe and efficient production of quality products. Key duties include:

• Operating HMI systems and processing equipment
• Running and monitoring clarifiers, RO plants and evaporators
• Following food safety, quality, and production procedures
• Completing accurate production documentation
• Maintaining a strong focus on health and safety
• Working collaboratively within a production team

What We're Looking For

• Previous operational plant or manufacturing experience
• Dairy manufacturing knowledge preferred
• Experience with processing equipment (clarifiers, evaporators, dryers, blending systems advantageous)
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently
• Leadership experience is not required
