Plant Operations Manager

A industrial organization is seeking an experienced Plant Operations Manager to lead one of its production sites. This role holds full accountability for site performance and oversees all operational and support functions accross all the different departments. Key Responsibilities: Take full responsibility for overall site performance, setting direction and ensuring execution against operational and business priorities. Coordinate and integrate all functional areas of the facility to achieve common goals. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards and policies. Develop and implement strategies to improve site performance, efficiency and productivity. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and collaboration. Lead and manage a team of operations staff, ensuring effective communication, training and development. Provide guidance and support to other departments as required. Monitor and control costs, budget and financial performance. Identify and mitigate risks, ensure business continuity and crisis management. Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, regulatory bodies and local communities. Ensure site is compliant with all relevant regulations, standards and policies. Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a related field, preferably in Engineering or Business Administration. Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the industrial sector. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Certification in Six Sigma or similar is an asset.
