Plant Operations Manager

Position Objective: To oversee the entire housing wire manufacturing unit. This role is responsible for driving daily production targets, optimizing operational costs, and maintaining strict compliance with national quality benchmarks like BIS/ISI standards . The ideal candidate will blend strategic leadership with strong floor-level technical expertise to maximize capacity utilization and integrate a seamless supply chain. 1. Operations & Production Management Daily Oversight: Direct and supervise the entire housing wire manufacturing unit; ensure daily production targets are met, optimize operational costs, and maintain strict compliance with national quality benchmarks like BIS/ISI standards . The ideal candidate will blend strategic leadership with strong floor-level technical expertise to maximize capacity utilization and integrate a seamless supply chain. 2. Supply Chain Management: Ensure the smooth flow of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods; optimize inventory levels, manage logistics, and maintain relationships with suppliers. 3. Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure compliance with national quality benchmarks like BIS/ISI standards ; conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement. 4. Team Management: Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team; foster open communication, provide training and development opportunities, and promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement. 5. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards; identify and mitigate risks to the organization.
