About the client

Novastea | Eastrategies®, a firm specializing in interim management and executive recruitment in Central and Eastern Europe, is seeking an interim Plant Manager for an industrial client in the automotive sector: a factory with over 500 employees, part of an international group.

Mission

Interim management mission: take charge of the factory as Plant Manager, with a focus on production and the implementation of automotive industry standards.

• Operational leadership of production (safety, quality, delivery, costs)
• Implementation and consolidation of automotive standards: IATF, core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC)
• Preparation and support of customer and certification audits
• Structuring of performance indicators (OEE, SQDC) and daily management
• Development of the management team and stabilization of workforce
• Direct reporting to group management

Profile sought

• Minimum 10 years in production, with at least 5 years as Plant Manager or Production Director
• Mandatory experience in the automotive industry (Tier 1 or Tier 2 supplier)
• Have previously led an IATF 16949 implementation or recertification
• Experience in managing teams of over 400 people
• Experience in interim management or operational consulting missions is an advantage
• Languages: Romanian and English mandatory, French is a significant advantage
• Availability for permanent on-site presence in Oradea

• Consultant-based collaboration (PFA, SRL, or equivalent), based on a daily rate
