Job description

Job Title: Plant Manager

Industry: Food & Beverages

Experience Required: 5–8 years

Location: Jaipur( Mahindra Sez)


Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead and oversee end-to-end production operations in our food manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production planning, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvements while adhering to food safety and regulatory compliances.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and control production activities to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
  • Supervise the production team, ensuring effective manpower allocation, training, and performance monitoring.
  • Implement and maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and statutory compliance (FSSAI, HACCP, ISO, etc.).
  • Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth operations and timely dispatches.
  • Monitor production KPIs such as yield, efficiency, wastage, downtime, and take corrective measures where needed.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate production reports, inventory updates, and documentation for audits.
  • Drive continuous process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
  • Ensure machinery and equipment are well-maintained in coordination with the maintenance team.


Requirements:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Food Technology, Food Science, or related discipline.
  • 5–8 years of proven experience in production management within the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, FSSAI, and other relevant food safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and exposure to ERP systems preferred.
