Plant Corrosion Engineer

Plant Corrosion Engineer- Relocation to Saudi Arabia is required Key Responsibilities: As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following: Implement corrosion management program and on-stream monitoring and Conduct risk-based inspection based on API-580 methodology. Review and approve recommend solutions for coating failures and cathodic protection and participate in Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP) review sessions and ensure that all issues are addressed. Manage water treatment systems, including chemical dosing and pH control, to prevent corrosion and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Develop and implement a comprehensive corrosion management plan, including risk assessments, inspection schedules, and maintenance strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential corrosion-related hazards. Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with the corrosion management program and identify areas for improvement. Provide technical guidance and support to operations personnel on corrosion prevention and control measures. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services required for corrosion-related projects. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize corrosion management processes and reduce costs.
