Plant Controller (m/f/d)

Our Client

For a great medium-sized manufacturing company in the greater Stuttgart area, we are looking for an experienced personality in Controlling. In a small, specialized team, you will combine your expertise in cost accounting with proximity to the plant. As a business administration point of contact, you will work directly with production management.

Your Scope of Activity

• You translate numbers, data, and facts from the plant into decision-making bases.

• You will be responsible for product costing and will delve into material and manufacturing costs.

• You will be the technical point of contact for costing issues in SAP; this also includes determining rates.

• You will investigate cost drivers and analyze production variances and discuss them as a business partner with plant and production management.

• You will participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and also support with provisions and accruals.

• You will prepare reports and variance analyses, explain the results, and further develop the reporting system.

• You will participate in the further development of workflows, systems, and IT reporting structures.

What You Bring

• Several years of practical experience in Controlling; experience in plant controlling at a manufacturing company is particularly welcome.

• Very good knowledge of SAP FI/CO, especially regarding costing, rate determination, and processes; initial exposure to SAP S/4HANA is a plus.

• Good knowledge of accounting and a sound understanding of how financial accounting and controlling interlink.

• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, as well as a high ability to find solutions for complex issues.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to win over departments such as plant management for changes.
