Plant Controller

Job description

Follow up cost accounting processes including standard cost updates, accuracy, overhead allocation, and inventory valuation. Monitor production costs, scrap, yield, and operational efficiency, supporting continuous improvement.
Manage annual budget development and periodic forecasting cycles. Collaborate with department heads to ensure resource planning aligns with production schedules, capacity, and improvement initiatives.
Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the plant. Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of financial reporting in compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements. Analyze variances vs. budget, forecast, and operational KPIs, recommending corrective actions. Maintain a strong internal control environment in accordance with corporate policies and financial compliance standards.
Serve as a business partner to the Plant Manager, providing financial analysis for strategic decisions. Lead the finance team, ensuring skills development, performance management, and succession planning. Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement.
