As Planning Supervisor S&OP

Position Objective

Lead the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process within the Contract Logistics operation, ensuring a balance between volume forecasts, warehouse capacity, operational resources, and inventory, guaranteeing compliance with the service levels agreed upon with Retail sector clients.

You will be responsible for coordinating demand, capacity, and supply plans with clients, warehouse teams, transportation, and operations to anticipate volume variations and optimize resource utilization.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the monthly and weekly S&OP process with internal and external clients.
• Analyze forecasts for orders, receipts, picking, and shipments.
• Develop warehouse capacity plans (space, personnel, and equipment).
• Ensure the availability of operational resources in accordance with volume projections.
• Monitor inventory and warehouse occupancy levels.
• Evaluate operational impacts derived from promotions, peak seasons, product launches, and special events.
• Generate planning and contingency scenarios to mitigate operational risks.
• Manage performance indicators related to inventory, productivity, and service.
• Coordinate communication between Operations, Transportation, Customer Service, Engineering, and clients.
• Lead demand, capacity, and operational performance review meetings.
• Propose continuous improvements in planning processes and resource optimization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Desirable experience of a minimum of 3 years in Planning, S&OP, Demand Planning, Capacity Planning, or Supply Chain Planning.
• Warehouse operations.
• Retail or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).
• Distribution Centers (DC).
