Job Title: Planning Head – (CRGO)

Experience Required: 10+ years in production planning & control (preferably in CRGO/lamination sheet or electrical steel manufacturing)

To lead and manage all aspects of Production Planning and Control (PPC) for CRGO steel processing and manufacturing, ensuring timely availability of raw materials, efficient production scheduling, inventory optimization, and on-time delivery of finished goods. The role requires close coordination with production, quality, procurement, and sales departments.

• Develop and maintain master production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and plant capacity.

• Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly production planning in alignment with business goals.

• Plan job orders for cutting, slitting, annealing, testing, and other CRGO processing stages.

• Monitor inventory levels of raw CRGO coils, semi-finished, and finished goods.

• Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials without overstocking.

• Implement Just-In-Time (JIT) principles where applicable.

• Work closely with the production team to ensure plan adherence and resolve bottlenecks.

• Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule preventive maintenance without affecting output.

• Monitor and minimize downtime, waste, and production losses.

• Maintain accurate records of production plans, progress, and performance metrics.

• Analyze variances between planned and actual production and recommend corrective actions.

• Generate MIS reports on production efficiency, capacity utilization, and delivery timelines.

• Lead the planning team and train junior planners.

• Promote cross-functional collaboration across production, quality, logistics, and sales.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.
