Planning Coordinator - Food Production Industry

Hire Resolve's client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Planning Coordinator to join their food production company in the Western Cape. The Planning Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating production schedules, ensuring raw materials availability, and optimizing production efficiency to meet customer demand. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand while maximizing efficiency. Coordinate with procurement team to ensure timely arrival of raw materials and supplies. Ensure compliance with quality control procedures and maintain accurate records of production activities. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as necessary. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and supply chain management. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, operations management, or a related field. 2-3 years of experience in a planning or coordination role within the food production industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Certifications: None required but an asset.
