Planner/Scheduler (Infrastructure)

Job Description Provide scheduling services across diverse Infrastructure projects Conduct Pre-baseline reviews of contractor’s programmes to check adherence to the required contractual requirements and industry standard scheduling practices. Prepare progress update reports and highlight key schedule risks and opportunities to the clients. Recommend corrective action and create acceleration programmes in case of major delays. Arrange meetings with multiple client-side stakeholders to understand their needs, expectations, and concerns regarding project schedules. Ensure that all project schedules are aligned with the overall programme objectives and milestones. Develop and maintain a comprehensive project schedule, including resource allocation, task dependencies, and critical path analysis. Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination among stakeholders. Provide regular updates to clients on project progress, highlighting achievements, and areas for improvement. Ensure that all project schedules are compliant with relevant industry standards and best practices. Coordinate with the project management team to develop and implement corrective action plans in case of deviations from planned timelines. Develop and maintain a comprehensive schedule risk register, identifying potential risks and opportunities, and proposing mitigation strategies. Provide expert advice on scheduling methodologies and best practices to clients and internal stakeholders. Ensure that all project schedules are properly documented, including detailed explanations of the scheduling methodology used.
