Planner Landside Operations

DP (Dubai Ports) World, located in the Waaslandhaven, loads and unloads containers from all over the world and thus fulfills an important function as a link between shipping companies and transportation via road, water, and rail. At our terminal at the Deurganckdok in the port, it is therefore a coming and going of trucks, rail traffic, inland vessels, and container ships. In the Port of Antwerp, DP World hereby sets the most modern technologies, advanced cranes, and an extensive straddle carrier-park. As Planner Landside Operations, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the flow of goods within our terminal. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your main tasks will include: • Coordinating the loading and unloading of containers; • Monitoring and controlling the flow of goods within the terminal; • Ensuring that all safety regulations are met; • Maintaining good relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders; • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing them; • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.
