PLANNER/ BUYER
Job description
Key Responsibilities: Analyze material requirements based on demand forecasts, production orders, and inventory levels. Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock. Issue purchase orders and follow up through material receipt. Ensure ERP/MRP system information is accurate and up to date. Collaborate with production, logistics, warehouse, and finance teams to prevent delays in internal processes such as receiving and payments. Resolve issues related to delays, shortages, or quality problems. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials. Monitor and control costs associated with procurement and inventory management. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
