Material Planner

Under the supervision of the logistics and supply chain planning director, the material planner is responsible for planning the efficient needs of materials to support production operations and service-client warehouses. He/She works in collaboration with the procurement manager to ensure proactive inventory management, and coordinates with internal teams and analyzes performance data to anticipate risks related to procurement. His/her role is essential to ensuring material availability while optimizing costs and inventory levels.

Your challenges:

• Plan materials needs according to production forecasts, customer orders, and stock levels;
• Ensure material availability while minimizing surpluses and shortages;
• Proactively manage inventories in collaboration with the warehouse and procurement teams;
• Coordinate with internal teams (production, procurement, warehouse, manufacturing) for a smooth flow of materials;
• Track performance indicators (KPIs) related to planning, inventory, and deliveries;
• Identify risks and propose solutions while contributing to continuous process improvement.
