Job summary :

The Scheduling Coordinator will plan production for short-term vision, all in order to meet production schedules. You will be at the heart of the action and work closely with internal and external clients such as sales, production, shipping/receiving, procurement, engineering, and quality assurance teams. All this will be done with a flow ambition.

Main tasks and responsibilities :

  • Develops and coordinates short-term production planning (0-60 days) for manufacturing;
  • Coordinates product manufacturing according to scheduled deadlines;
  • Coordinates with procurement to find creative solutions to avoid production stops;
  • Reviews PO with different departments involved
  • Analyzes production factors (capacity and labor analysis, cycle time, urgency of request, material availability, etc.) to better prepare and track production plan (PDP);
  • Analyzes internal impact (establishing the production schedule, procurement, logistics, shipping, etc.);
  • Ensures production line fluidity by tracking interventions, identifying problems, and finding solutions;
  • Participates in managing commercial relationships with clients while negotiating in MSB's interest;
  • Identifies and coordinates opportunities for improvement relative to team objectives;
  • Follows indicators (KPI);
  • Works closely with procurement team to track 'shortages' pieces;
  • Creates various reports and updates from ERP system;
  • Makes necessary adjustments to avoid production delays;
  • Creates RMA and tracks with different teams
  • Works in collaboration with different departments: sales, planning, engineering, procurement, method, production, and R&D (project manager).
  • Updates system according to client requirements (PO reviews)

Requirements

Skill profile :

  • Holds a degree in operations management;
  • Has 3 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Understands inventory management;
  • Knows Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Mastery of French.
  • Good time management and ability to work as a team member;
  • Excellent communicator, good analytical skills, and negotiation abilities;
  • Has a good adaptability capacity;
  • Is organized and autonomous;
  • Has good customer service.
