Piping Designer

Kiewit Mexico offers construction management and engineering services in a variety of markets, including energy, oil, gas, chemicals, terminals, marine works, and mining. Responsibilities Prepare piping designs, pipe rack, hot small-bore piping, hot large-bore piping, cold piping, and process piping systems. Perform calculations such as pressure drop, pipe sizing, and hydraulic analysis. Develop and review piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs). Create and modify 3D models using software such as Plant3D or CADWorx. Generate piping isometrics and spool drawings. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines. Participate in design reviews. Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry codes, and standards. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in piping design. Experience with 3D modeling software such as Plant3D or CADWorx. Knowledge of piping codes and standards such as ASME B31.3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Benefits Competitive salary.
