Job description

The transport pilot is a military aeronautics professional who performs tactical or strategic flights aboard transport aircraft (A400M Atlas, Casa CN-235, C-130 Hercules). He belongs to a squadron based on an air base, and is integrated into a full crew (co-pilot, flight engineer, loadmaster). He participates in mission planning, navigation, aviation safety management, and in-flight decision-making, in sometimes hostile environments.
