Pilot Line Procurement Technician
Job description
As part of the PICs@ICFO Strategic Initiative , ICFO coordinates PIXEurope , a flagship Pilot Line funded under the European Chips JU program. With €400 million in investments and a consortium of 20 partners across 11 countries, the project aims to reinforce Europe’s strategic autonomy in photonic technologies and accelerate industrial uptake of cutting-edge integrated photonics. Over the next decade, PIXEurope will enable the transfer of advanced technologies to manufacturing environments, which will lead to increased competitiveness and job creation in the sector. The Pilot Line Procurement Technician will be responsible for coordinating procurement activities within the consortium, ensuring compliance with European Union regulations and standards, as well as managing relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as experience in procurement and supply chain management. The ideal candidate should have a degree in a relevant field such as engineering, business administration or a related discipline, and at least 3 years of experience in procurement or a related field. Fluency in English is required, with proficiency in other European languages being an asset.
