Pipe Fitter I Lier

Our client, specialized in providing services around petrol stations and all related systems for the Benelux region, is looking for a pipe fitter to depart daily from Lier. You will depart daily from Lier with your colleagues to your workplace. You will work throughout Flanders, Wallonia, and Luxembourg. Sporadically, it may be possible that you need to stay overnight. As a pipe fitter, you will perform tasks such as building and installing tank stations and industrial installations, including placing fuel tanks and connecting suction, ventilation, and filling pipes. A glimpse of your task package:

• Bouwen en installeren van tankstations en industriële installaties, waaronder het plaatsen van brandstoftanks en het aansluiten van zuig-, verluchtings- en vulleidingen.
• Vernieuwen en herstellen van bestaande installaties, bijvoorbeeld door het vervangen van ondergrondse leidingen en het herstellen van vertrekbochten op mangaten, volledig volgens de nieuwste milieunormen.
• Monteren van leidingen, flenzen en bijhorende componenten aan de hand van aangeleverde stappenplannen, technische plannen en schema’s.
• Uitvoeren van elektrolassen op kunststofbuizen, zoals het lassen van ellebogen, eindstukken en andere hulpstukken.
• Draadsnijden en monteren van hulpstukken op bovengrondse gegalvaniseerde leidingen.
• Trekken van kabels en het bieden van ondersteuning bij elektromechanische werkzaamheden.
• Altijd werken volgens de geldende veiligheidsvoorschriften en met correct gebruik van persoonlijke beschermingsmiddelen (PBM’s).

To work in the team of our client as a pipe fitter, you can check off the following:

• You have a secondary diploma in a technical field (mechanics/piping/metalworking/electricity) or are equivalent by experience
• You are fluent in understanding and interpreting technical plans
• Do you have experience in checking leaks and pressure tests? Plus points!
• You possess a driving license B
• VCA certificate is a plus
• You speak and understand Dutch, knowledge of the French language is nice to have
• You are not afraid to work in small spaces or at heights.
• You can adapt flexibly to task package and working hours.
