Physiotherapy Assistant

We are currently looking for a Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA) for a Long Term Care client in Shelburne, Ontario. Working under the direct or indirect supervision of the Physiotherapist, our assistants will work in close contact with residents to help them implement treatment programs and achieve the goals set out for them. Schedule: 24 Hours per Week as of October 11th, 2025. Job Duties: Assist with conducting group exercises for residents, and lead one-on-one activities with the assigned resident. Assist with implementing treatment programs and achieving the goals set out for the residents. Assist with maintaining accurate records of treatment programs and resident progress. Assist with communicating with the Physiotherapist and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for the residents. Assist with maintaining a safe and clean environment for the residents. Assist with performing other duties as required.
