Physiotherapist - PT 3 days for Bankstown Sydney

Position: Physiotherapist – Aged Care (Part-time 3 days) Location: Bankstown Sydney, NSW Salary Range: $39–$42 per hour super (award basis) Client Demographic: Aged-care residents (predominantly older adults in residential/community aged-care settings) Experience Required: Minimum 2 years preferred; new graduates are welcome if passionate about aged care Role Overview: We’re seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist who’s excited about making a difference in the lives of older adults. In this role you'll provide comprehensive physiotherapy services to aged-care residents, promoting their independence, well-being, and quality of life. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical needs and capabilities. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Provide hands-on therapy, including exercise programs, mobility training, and pain management techniques. Educate residents, families, and caregivers on mobility, safety, and injury prevention. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of resident progress. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals. Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Experience working with older adults (preferred but not essential).
