About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced Physiotherapist (or Occupational Therapist) to work within a community-based health team which assesses, treats and supports patients in their own homes.

In this role you'll play a role in providing high-quality rehabilitation services to clients, helping with recovery from injuries, managing chronic conditions, and improving their overall physical wellbeing.

With access to a shared company vehicle, you'll work across the wider Northland community whilst being supported by an organisation that has been at the forefront of community health services for over 25 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing home-based rehabilitation support to patients across Northland
  • Conducting comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop personalised treatment plans
  • Delivering a range of physiotherapy interventions
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals
  • Maintaining detailed records of client progress and outcomes

Skills and Experience:

  • NZ Physiotherapy or OT registration and current APC
  • A solid understanding of acute care and working with ACC claims
  • Full NZ Driver's license and access to reliable transport
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build rapport and effectively collaborate with clients and healthcare professionals
  • A commitment to continuous professional development
  • Knowledge of the Northland region
