Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

What will you do?

At Cardiologie Centra Nederland, location Dokkum, you will run your own clinic and be medically responsible for your own patient population. You will independently develop diagnosis and treatment plans, perform risk stratification, and manage patients with various, complex cardiological conditions, such as:

• Chest pain (angina pectoris) and ischemic heart diseases;
• Heart rhythm disorders (including atrial fibrillation);
• Heart failure, hypertension, and hypercholesterolemia;
• Valvular heart disease.

You will combine medical-technical care with lifestyle medicine and long-term follow-up. Where necessary, you will collaborate on an equal footing with the cardiologists present; communication lines are short with us, and the atmosphere is collegial. And because the role of a PA or NP is new at our Dokkum location, we offer an opportunity: you will actively contribute to shaping this role and the outpatient clinic. Your vision, clinical insight, and initiative will be leading in this.

The Dokkum location is situated within the Sionsberg Network Hospital. You will work in an accessible and informal team, where we truly support each other. We are an organization of independent treatment centers for cardiovascular diseases that distinguishes itself by perfectly tailoring outpatient care to the needs of the patient and the referring physician. We work with advanced heart rhythm analyses (Holter monitoring), remotely support patients through our innovative e-health program Hartwacht, and perform outpatient electrical cardioversions (ECVs). With our own PM technician and our own emergency outpatient clinic on-site, the dynamics are high.

Additionally, we will soon have our own CT coronaries. With this state-of-the-art equipment, we will visualize the coronary arteries locally, quickly, and non-invasively, a fantastic quality boost for your diagnostic work.

Who are you?

• You have completed a Master's in Physician Assistant (MPA) or Master's in Advanced Nursing Practice (MANP) and possess a valid BIG registration;
• You have demonstrable clinical experience in cardiology (or a very strong affinity to delve into it);
• You are strong in communication, enjoy working autonomously, and seek collaboration.

What do we offer you?

At CCN, you will receive a salary in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement for Independent Clinics Netherlands (ZKN), a full-time employment contract consists of a 40-hour work week. The CAO ensures an attractive package of employment benefits. We want the best for you, the team, and the patient. We offer you, among other things, the following:

• A salary between €5,295 and €7,901 in accordance with FWG 65 (CAO ZKN) based on a 40-hour week. We will place you based on your experience;
• Holiday pay (8.33%), a year-end bonus of 8.33%, and participation in the pension scheme at PFZW;
• A one-year contract for 16-32 hours per week, with a clear intention for a subsequent indefinite contract;
• A healthy work-life balance: we exclusively offer regularity. You will therefore not work shifts on weekends or evenings/nights;
• 160 hours of vacation leave and 72 PLB (Personal Leave Budget) hours based on a full-time employment;
• Travel expenses reimbursement of €0.23/km (parking facilities are available at this location) or an NS business card for commuting;
