To strengthen our development team, we are looking for an experienced PHP Software Developer (m/f/d) who uses modern AI tools (such as Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot etc.) as an integral part of their workflow to innovatively and efficiently further develop our platform nicsell.

Tasks

Your tasks

• AI-powered PHP Development: Conception, development, and maintenance of our platform nicsell using modern PHP. You actively use AI tools as a "pair programmer" for code generation, refactoring, and complex problem-solving.
• Database Management: Efficient design and query optimization of MySQL databases, supported by AI-based analyses and optimization suggestions.
• API Development: Creation and integration of performant and secure interfaces for internal and external customers.
• Process Optimization & Architecture: Automation of internal processes in domain trading as well as analysis and implementation of scalable software solutions.
• Teamwork & Innovation: Close collaboration with other teams. You contribute your knowledge of best practices in dealing with AI to the team and help us to continuously increase our development speed.
• Infrastructure: Routine handling of Git, Linux, and Docker for smooth deployments and test environments.

Qualification

Your qualification

• Background: Ideally, a completed apprenticeship as an IT specialist, a computer science degree, or comparable qualifications or many years of professional experience.
• PHP Expertise: Profound, demonstrable professional experience in software development with PHP as well as very good knowledge of working with MySQL.
• AI Competence: You have profound practical experience in AI-powered software development and know exactly how to formulate prompts to generate high-quality, secure, and testable code.
• Tech Stack: Knowledge of modern frameworks, development tools (Git, Linux, Docker), and current web technologies.
• Soft Skills: Self-directed, solution-oriented, and structured way of working as well as great enjoyment of technical challenges.
