Our three-headed, agile development team works closely together and independently or in pair- and mob-programming as needed. Together, we expand and optimize our own personnel software for our customers and remain open to new technologies. Ideas are always welcome, technical decisions are made transparently and in the team. During your onboarding, experienced colleagues will accompany you closely and ensure a smooth start.

You decide whether you work at one of our locations in Kiel or Neumünster or 100% from home office. A certain proximity to one of our locations should be given, however.

Aufgaben

Your tasks in backend development

• You bring your ideas for our own personnel software and work on expanding and optimizing the existing functions or developing new features.

• When working on these projects, you set up backend services (REST APIs) based on PHP 8.3 and the Laravel framework.

• We synchronize twice daily in the team (Stand-Up Meeting & Daily Wrap Up) and, depending on our current projects, work alone or together with your team using pair- or mob-programming.

• You assess how to implement new UX concepts most sensibly and find solutions for complex relationships in the background.

• Furthermore, you are responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our software and write clean code (static code analysis with PHPStan) and tests (unit- and integration tests) to guarantee this.

• If your colleagues from other departments need support for our software, you stand as an internal point of contact available for questions.

Qualifikation

Your profile as a software developer:in

• You bring several years of experience in programming with PHP (at least v8.x) and have already intensively worked with Laravel.

• You possess fundamental knowledge of relational databases, preferably MariaDB 10.

• You have experience with agile software development (Scrum) and live team spirit actively.

• You are familiar with software architecture (e.g., SOLID, design patterns).

• You work routinely in a macOS development environment (work equipment: Apple MacBook).

• You have experience in automated testing, particularly with PHPUnit.

• You possess a sense of digital innovation; creativity, thoroughness, and analytical thinking characterize you.

• You possess good German language skills in writing and speaking.
