PHP Developer

We’re looking for a Backend Software Engineer with strong proficiency in PHP and good working knowledge of MySQL to join our development team. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with frontend developers and coordinate with UI and UX designers to build and maintain scalable, high-performing websites and applications. You will develop backend systems, maintain existing codebases, design databases, and create APIs to enable seamless integration with frontend components. Job Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain complex PHP-based web applications, • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, • Design, implement, and test database schema for large-scale data storage, • Create RESTful APIs using PHP and MySQL to enable seamless integration with frontend components, • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in PHP-based applications, • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in PHP, MySQL, and related technologies. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, • At least 3 years of experience as a Backend Software Engineer, • Strong proficiency in PHP (version 7.x or higher), • Good working knowledge of MySQL and database design principles, • Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML, • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git, • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
