Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Management: Provide strong leadership and direction to the pharmacy team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. Oversee all pharmacy operations, including medication procurement, storage, dispensing, and distribution. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and patient safety. Financial Management: Manage the pharmacy budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and resource allocation. Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize drug utilization. Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient billing and reimbursement processes. Clinical Practice: Oversee medication therapy management programs, including medication reconciliation and patient education. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Monitor and evaluate medication use, identifying and addressing potential drug-related problems. Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance: Develop and maintain a comprehensive quality assurance program to ensure patient safety and medication accuracy. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address any deficiencies. Prepare for and participate in regulatory inspections, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards. Personnel Management: Recruit, train, and supervise pharmacy staff, fostering a culture of professional development. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to pharmacy staff. Promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration. Qualifications: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy. Current and unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of [Insert State].
