Job description

Job Title: Pharmacy Technician 2 - Pharmacy Assistant with experience. Job Status: Full-time Position 2 Reports To: Pharmacist in Charge, Pharmacy Manager, or Pharmacy Owner. Responsibilities: • Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications and answering patient questions. • Maintain accurate records of prescriptions filled and patient information. • Restock shelves and ensure inventory is up-to-date. • Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and resolving issues in a timely manner. • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives. • Stay current with changes in pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulations. • Perform other duties as assigned by the Pharmacist in Charge or Pharmacy Manager. Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or associate's degree preferred. • 1-2 years of experience working in a retail pharmacy setting. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
