Job Roles and Responsibilities Dispense prescription medications accurately while ensuring patient safety and adherence to legal and regulatory guidelines. Counsel patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and any relevant health concerns. Provide medication therapy management services, including medication reviews and reconciliation. Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians and other support staff. Manage inventory of medications and other pharmaceutical products. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to patient confidentiality regulations. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. Stay current on pharmaceutical knowledge and industry best practices. Participate in continuing professional development activities. Ensure compliance with all relevant pharmacy laws and regulations. Requirements Bachelor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent. Current registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia. Proven experience in a retail pharmacy setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Sound knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations.
