Pharmaceutical Technician II

Work Schedule 12 hr shift/nights Environmental Conditions Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc allowed, Cold Room/Freezers -22degreesF/-6degrees C, No contact lens allowed; prescriptive glasses will be provided, Office, Will work with hazardous/toxic materials Job Description A What will you do? The incumbent will perform various tasks and activities listed below: • Perform routine quality control checks on pharmaceutical products. • Conduct visual inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure compliance with GMPs. • Participate in training sessions to maintain knowledge of GMPs, safety procedures, and product information. • Maintain accurate records of testing results, product inventory, and equipment maintenance. • Collaborate with other team members to resolve issues and improve processes. Job Description B What are the requirements? The incumbent must have: • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in a life science-related field preferred. • 1-2 years of experience working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, preferably as a technician. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures. • Basic knowledge of GMPs, safety procedures, and product information. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
